I’m always forgetting the inverse trig derivatives, and it’s starting to annoy me. Well, no more! I’m sticking them on my freaking blog where I can always get to them.

Oh great. Calculus. As if all this logic weren’t enough! I think you are actually a robot from space, Geo. Sent to convert my life into formulas.

You’ve found me out, Pleven. And now, the goods:

d(arccos(x))/dx = -1/sqrt(1-x^2)

d(arcsin(x))/dx = 1/sqrt(1-x^2)

d(arctan(x))/dx = 1/(1+x^2)

d(arcsec(x))/dx = 1/(x*sqrt(x^2-1))
