I hate the sun

Alright, let me just get this out of the way: I hate the sun! Yes, I know that virtually all of the useful forms of energy on this planet come from it. We wouldn’t be here without the sun. I am, at least lately, glad that I’m alive; so maybe it would be more accurate to say that I hate personally ever having to be in the presence of sunlight. It bombards my skin with high energy radiation, gets in my eyes and gives me a huge headache, causes every last imperfection on my face to become obvious, and pretty much pisses me off in general. What about having a tan? I seriously don’t want a tan – if I were infinitely pasty, then that’d be just fine with me!

So it sucks that the world goes ’round, at least for normal human beings, in the day time. I have to get up just like everybody else and deal with it, ‘cept that almost everyone else likes the sun. Apparently there are even some psychological studies suggesting that people are happier when the weather is sunny. 😦 Another irritating thing is that evil assholes tend to come out at night, making it rather unsafe for me to do likewise, particularly where I live. Those bastards.

It’s too bad that it’s not really socially acceptable to go around all the time wearing a cloak with a big hood over your head, esp. in broad daylight, and that goes doubly so if it’s hot out. No thanks, I’d prefer not looking like an idiot/insane person; however, I’d do it if nobody would notice, even if it were damned hot. I’m a physicist – I’d think of something.

So there. I’ve said it. I feel better now.

Струва ми се че си вампир. You don’t like your blood cold, do you?

I have no idea what you’re talking about Pleven…
